The Best Recruiting System

Let’s be real. We all know that the best recruiting system is one that does not require much advertising. It runs by word of mouth.
Now, let’s be honest. That type of system rarely exists anymore. The only employer I have met in Las Vegas that ‘once’ had this system was Mirage Resorts when Steve Wynn owned it and HR-guru Arte Nathan managed it.
Today, even Steve Wynn must advertise.
Why? Because Nevada does not have the talent it needs to maintain its’ growth and the seasoned talent that Nevada does need, does not yet live here.
So every employer needs to consistently recruit. They need to access the talent pool that currently exists in Nevada and more importantly, the talent pool that does not exist yet - because it is moving to Nevada.
Over 8,000 new residents move here each month. Many of them conduct their job searches on one of our employment websites such as NVJobSearch.com, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Career Center or Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce Career Center.
This ‘moving target’ should not discourage you from building a recruitment campaign that spreads by word of mouth. Referrals are always the most cost effective recruiting source you can develop. Just don’t expect it to be your only source. Those days are gone.
