Best Places to Work - Call for Nominations

There is no better recruitment tool than being known as a “Best Place to Work.”
Being an Employer of Choice will outperform any recruitment advertising campaign there is. Word spreads about your workplace environment and the most qualified jobseekers line up at your door to apply for positions that they are over qualified for just to ‘get a foot in the door.’ (Yeah - I may be exaggerating a little, but I can guarantee it is better than dumping all kinds of cash into a Sunday Newspaper ad to get no applicants).
So - now is your chance to nominate your company as a “Best Place to Work.” The Southern Nevada Human Resource Association (SNHRA) has been hosting this awards ceremony for five years now along with IN Business.
The process is fairly easy and only takes a little time and some effort. The ROI (Return on Investment) you will receive if chosen as a winner is unmeasurable. And, at worst - you will hone your skills of selling your company as a great employer…something every employee should practice regardless.
The steps to take are:
First - your company needs to be nominated by one or more employees (No later than June 30, 2007).
Next - you will need to complete the application form (no later than July 27, 2007).
Then - a panel of judges (all from Northern Nevada to remove any bias) will evaluate the nominees.
Finally - the winners are recognized at the ceremony on Friday, October 12, 2007.
Again, I can not overemphasize the importance of these types of awards. They only come around once per year. Take the time to start the process today by nominating your company as a “Best Place to Work.” - Click Here for Nomination Form.
Just think about the mileage a company such as Station Casinos gets each time they make the Fortune Best 100 Companies to Work For.
