Vegas Nursing

Well, the Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition (SNMIC) is off to Chicago today to recruit nurses.  We will have representatives from St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, Valley Hospital, Summerlin Hospital, Desert Springs Hospital, Spring Valley Hospital, Centennial Hills Hospital, North Vista Hospital, Sunrise Hospital and Mountain View Hospital in attendance.

We go under the umbrella (brand) of VegasNursing.com.

Chicago will not know what hit them.  The nurses in Chicago are still talking about the last time we did this.  We bring hundreds of the flashing blinking lights of the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign and pin them on every nurse that comes by our booth.  By the end of the event, the entire exhibit hall is flashing Las Vegas.  It is crazy.

The Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority provides us a booth with the Las Vegas Skyline that says “We work as hard as we play in Las Vegas.”  They also give us Mylar (helium) balloons with “We party every day that ends in Y.”

Vegas JuiceAnd we bring Elvis!!!!!!

The embarrassing part is I have to dress up as Elvis with one of the other committee members who I will not shame in public (I don’t mind embarrassing myself.)

I will post a picture of the group on the blog tomorrow or over the weekend.  You will enjoy it.
