No Trick-or-Treaters at this Job Fair

As most know by now, we recently partnered with the Greenspun Media Group/the News to promote a series of five Job Fairs each year. As most know, the market is already flooded with way too many career fair companies.
Well, I encourage you to exhibit in the Job Fair that will redefine how hiring events should be marketed:
So how do we set ourselves apart? We focus on, and attract, several key demographics:
Relocating Professionals
Each month, over 120,000 searches are conducted on Recruiting Nevada’s network of employment websites by professionals looking for career opportunities in Las Vegas. These jobseekers bring proven skills, a higher education and a much-desired work ethic. Furthermore – most of them will travel to Las Vegas just to attend our Career Fair for the opportunity of meeting face-to-face with top employers.
Semi-retired and pre-retired professionals
Nevada is the third fastest growing retirement community in the United States. Many professionals move here in hopes of retiring, only to realize they can only golf or play tennis so often without the need for mental stimulation. Others discover that their monthly income no longer supports their monthly expense. While the remainder didn’t realize the stress of spending 24/7 with their spouse.
Trailing Spouses and Family Members of New Teachers
The Clark County School District must hire close to 3,500 new teachers each year. The majority of which have a trailing spouse or family member who is looking for gainful employment. They bring real skills, work ethics and commitment. They also have not met face to face with any of your competitors yet.
Trailing Spouses and Family Members of Health Care Professionals
Three new hospitals were built in the last 3 years. Four are under construction today. Ten hospitals will expand in the next 2 years. Each hospital recruits their health care professionals from out of state, most of which have a trailing spouse or family member looking for employment. These trailing spouses and family members are all invited to our Career Fairs adding to the rich talent sets we are already attracting.
So what does this mean?
You will be reaching jobseekers you have not seen before. We hope not to attract the typical ‘trick-or-treaters’ you will find at the other job fairs. After being in the business for many years back in the 1990s I discovered there is an over abundance of professional jobseekers in Las Vegas. They attend every job fair. They collect all of our giveaways. And they have no intention of finding a job. They are ’trick-or-treaters.’
